The People’s Bank of China is to issue a set of Gold and Silver Commemorative Coins of G20 Hangzhou Summit 2016 on August 29th 2016. The set of coin consists of one gold coin and two silver coins, all of which are the legal tender of the People’s Republic of China.

 

I. Design of the coins

 

The set of gold and silver commemorative coin bear the common obverse of the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the title of PRC and the year date. The common reverse features the logo of G20 Hangzhou Summit 2016, the words “G20 Hangzhou Summit, 2016”in both Chinese and English and the face value

 

II. Specifications and mintage of the coins

 

The 3g gold coin is proof in quality, 18mm in diameter, 50 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and contains 3 grams of pure gold. The total mintage is 20000 pieces

 

The 30g silver coin is proof in quality, 40mm in diameter, 10 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and contains 30 grams of pure silver. The total mintage is 50000 pieces.

 

The 15g silver coin is proof in quality, 33mm in diameter, 5 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and contains 15 grams of pure silver. The total mintage is 50000 pieces.
